# Activate Your Citi Credit Card in the Citi Mobile App

> Use the Citi Mobile App on iPhone or Android to activate your new Citi credit card by signing in and following the in-app activation prompts.

If you have the Citi Mobile® App, you can activate your new Citi® credit card directly in the app by following the prompts. The app is available for iPhone® and Android™.

## Steps

**1. Download or update the app**

Get the official **Citi Mobile** app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

**2. Sign in**

Log in with your Citi Online user ID and password. If you don't have an account, register in the app first.

**3. Find the activation prompt**

Look for the option to activate your new card and tap it.

**4. Follow the prompts**

Enter any requested card or identity details and confirm activation.

> After activation, the app also lets you lock a misplaced card with Citi Quick Lock and turn on push notifications for purchases.
