# How to Activate Your Citi Credit Card Online at Citi.com

To activate your Citi® credit card online, go to [Citi.com/activate](https://www.citi.com/activate) and follow the on-screen instructions. Online activation is available any time and usually takes just a few minutes.

## Steps

**1. Open the official activation page**

Type **citi.com/activate** directly into your browser's address bar.

**2. Enter your card details**

Provide the requested card information, such as your card number and security code.

**3. Verify your identity**

Enter personal details when prompted, such as the last 4 digits of your Social Security number or your date of birth.

**4. Confirm activation**

Wait for the confirmation message that your card is active.
