To activate your Citi® credit card online, go to Citi.com/activate and follow the on-screen instructions. Online activation is available any time and usually takes just a few minutes.

Steps

Open the official activation page

Type citi.com/activate directly into your browser’s address bar.

Enter your card details

Provide the requested card information, such as your card number and security code.

Verify your identity

Enter personal details when prompted, such as the last 4 digits of your Social Security number or your date of birth.

Confirm activation

Wait for the confirmation message that your card is active.
Always check that the address in your browser is an official Citi domain before entering card or personal information. Never activate through a link in an unexpected email or text message.
